The Indianapolis Colts pulled off a stunning trade this afternoon when the swaped a future 1st round draft pick for a rising star at the running back position.
The Browns and the Colt completed a trade that would send running back Trent Richardson to Indy in exchange for the Colts first round draft pick next year.
The move comes just 17 months after the Browns made him the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL draft under a previous regime.
Richardson, 22, ran for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns as a rookie. He had only 105 yards on 31 carries (3.4 average) in two games this season.
