Better late than never. Today was the birthday of Adam “MCA” Yauch. Yauch helped create the group, the Beastie Boys when he was still in high school. The act would go on to become one of the first acts signed to Def Jam.
With numerous albums, single, concerts, and more over 3 decades, the Beasties will be always be remembered in the world of hip-hop. Yauch passed in May 2012.
