Yesterday, the Internet went into a frenzy after Rihanna responded to a fan who said that she might be the reason why J.R. Smith and the Knicks were on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs.
Heading into Game 5 last night JR played well as New York lived to see another day, and while having fun with the whole thing, says he’s not worried about barbs from pop stars. Speaking with NY Post, Smith said, ”I still didn’t shoot my best, but it always helps to come home and play in front of these fans,’ Smith said. ‘Hopefully the little bit of rhythm I did get carries me over.”
Smith also responded to the criticism that his hanging out late was the reason that he’s been playing bad and his response was, “I’m not worried about Instagram,’ he said. ‘I’m worried about the playoffs.”
Game 6 between the Knicks and the Pacers is this weekend.
