To promote his new album, “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” Jay-Z has been releasing lyrics to songs rather than whole songs. One of his songs, “La Familia,” makes you think that Jay’s sending shots at Lil Wayne.
Back when Jay and Kanye released “H.A.M,” Wayne took offense to the, “Please, you got Baby money,” line. Wayne would later drop a track where Weezy spits on, “It’s Good” that:“Talkin ’bout Baby money? I got your baby money; Kidnap your bitch, get that ‘how much you love your lady’ money; I know you fake nigga, press your brakes nigga; I’ll take you out, that’s a date nigga.” Many assumed he was talking about Beyonce.
When you read the lyrics of Hov’s new song, you get the feeling that Jay finally responds to Weezy.
