Facing 30 years to life for murder, with your life on the line, knowing you in fact pulled the trigger to save your own life and hearing the judge say, “Not Guilty.” It is rare that any rap artist can actually rap about surviving an attack, and winning a murder trial and getting a deal all in the span of two years.
But that is in fact D4L artist Fred P’s story. The Alabama native is now telling his story through his music with the new EP “My Life Story.” and an accompanying mini documentary about his murder trial. “My Life Story” encompasses Fred P’s rollercoaster of emotion from beginning to end and what led him to meeting Shawty Lo and pursuing music.
