How would you like to play a game of pick-up with Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade? Well these guys got that chance.
Once again, Wade will be inviting men ages 35 and older to join him for his fantasy basketball camp. According to a statement about the event, interested players will be in for a lot.
“Camp participants will enjoy an exciting weekend of fun and intense competition with four days of tournaments, special events, seminars, networking opportunities, and the chance to learn from the pros. The DWFC has been led by world-class coaches and leaders including Miami HEAT’s own Erik Spoelstra, Indiana University’s Men’s Head Coach Tom Crean, University of Miami’s Men’s Head Coach Jim Larranga, and NBA Legend Rick Barry. The DWFC has included past appearances from actor Will Smith, rapper Young Jeezy, comedian/actor Kevin Hart and other professional basketball players such as LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, Greg Oden, Raja Bell, Alonzo Mourning, and Tim Hardaway, Jr.
Wade has been hosting the camp since 2011. After getting a bunch of requests to play 1-on-1 from fans, he thought that it would be a dope idea to give fans a chance to come close to doing that.
