You would think that since he finally got his baby mama Kim Kardashian on the cover of Vogue that things would be all good between the fashion mag and the West family.
It is all good with the two, and that’s despite the pending lawsuit that Vogue was hit with recently.
Vogue magazine is being sued over the BTS video that featured Kim Kardashian and Kanye West during the photo shoot with their baby North, because Bound 2 was playing throughout it.
Yeezy was already sued last year for sampling Rickey Spicer’s vocals in Bound 2 without compensation. Now the high-fashion publication is the next one up to bat.
Spicer is suing for including a part of the song that heavily features his vocals in the BTS video.
His civil suit against Vogue publisher Condé Nast states:
“Mr. Spicer’s voice is used substantially throughout the video, comprising approximately 44 percent of the lyrics.”
And that the magazine is guilty of “knowingly used the voice audio recording of Mr. Spicer without his authorization or consent.”
