Maybe 50 is getting tired of the comparisons.
Fif is set to be a headliner at this years Hot 97 Summer Jam concert. To hype up his performance and the impending release of his 5th solo studio album, Animal Ambition, he stopped by Hot 97 to speak about his new album as well as his past foes like Ja Rule.
What was interesting was his comments about his one-time partners in crime, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo.
50 said he “likes the idea of Troy Ave,” and that he hears a lot of himself in Troy’s music. He also touched on Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks doing songs with Troy, calling them Troy’s hypemen now. He claimed it wasn’t a shot, but you can see how one would think that.
