This Wednesday, Jabari Parker will pull off his version of “The Decision.” On that day, Parker will decide between staying at Duke for another year and playing alongside #1 high school player and friend Jahlil Okafor or heading to the NBA where he will be a sure-fire top 3 pick.

Conversation has been swirling since Duke was ousted from the NCAA mens tournament by Mercer as to what Parker would do. The super-freshman was head and shoulders above all of the other highly touted freshman this year. His offensive game has pushed many to compare him to Carmello Anthony. It was his defensive flaws that stood out this year, most notably, when Coach K pulled him at crucial times in the game against Mercer because he couldn’t guard anybody.
If Parker comes back for another year, all eyes will be on him and Duke. They will have Kentucky Wildcat level talent and will be the pre-season #1 team in the country. Without Parker, they still will be a highly raked team.
If he decides to go, then Parker, who is a top 3 and potential #1 pick in this years draft will make million of dollars and make a struggling team very happy.
Scouts and Duke fans will be on pins and needles, about what Parker is about to do on Wednesday.
