I’m not sure what paper Amare Stoudamire is looking at, but a team with no real point guard, an over-paid forward with bad knees, a shoot first superstar and no real bench play is a not a good team.
A day after the Knicks were officially eliminated from the play-off picture, Stoudamire said that he felt the Knicks were the best team in the league on paper.
According to Adam Zagoria of NBA.com, Stoudamire told reporters, “On paper we might be the best team in the league.” He also said he expects to be back next season and helping the team reach the playoffs. “If I return healthy, I’m sure we’ll make the playoffs,” he said.
The Knicks who are currently 34-45 and sitting 9th in the Eastern Conference.
