Most of the bigger name stars don’t consider participating in the NBA Dunk contest anymore. Gone are the days when the likes of Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins would show off their skills for the fans.
We might be seeing a change in that trend soon. Lebron has been rumored to be considering competing in the contest. Indiana Pacers star Paul George has said in interviews that he would be open showing off his dunking skills possibly. So has Washngton Wizards guard John Wall. Add one more name to the mix of possibles that you could see in this years contest.
Damian Lillard is reportedly among those considering entering the 2014 Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend. The 6’3″ point guard was announced as a Western Conference All-Star reserve Thursday, it will be his first appearance. Lillard recently turned heads when he soared for this monster dunk against the Nuggets.
